In a horrific incident, a customer at Meridian restaurant in Punjagutta was allegedly beaten to death after an altercation with the staff.

A customer, Liyaqat visited the restaurant for dinner. The quarrel began when the customer asked for extra curd for the biryani and it turned into a heated argument. The customer was beaten up by the hotel staff.

Panjagutta police took them to the police station and Liyaqat collapsed talking to the police. He was rushed to the Deccan hospital and he died while receiving treatment.

AIMIM MLC Mirza Rehmat visited the police station and asked the police to do justice to the victim’s family.

Neck area is sensitive/ears/jaws, a good punch in an unfavorable spot can end a life. some people have a narrow passage for spinal cord and a good hit will compress it ending blood flow to the brain

that is why people lose consciousness when hit on a jaw, neck or head, momentarily there is a stoppage of blood flow

it happened with in the hotel but in front of the police, they detained all of them and then the guy collapsed(he seemed to have received a fury of bows from the hotel staff), you can see the guy holding his head and almost collapsed towards the end.

However the police on duty got suspended for not doing enough to stop them when they attacked the guy.
