Whose arrest is Vundavalli hinting at? Ramoji or Lokesh?

Even as the arrest of Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has created ripples in the political circles, former Lok Sabha member from Rajahmundry and political activist Vundavalli Arun Kumar has hinted at one more high-profile arrest soon.

He said there would be an arrest of yet another important personality in Andhra Pradesh before October 30.

“The intensity of this arrest will be much more than that of Chandrababu Naidu and it will create tremors in the state politics in much bigger way,” Vundavalli said.

He, however, did not disclose who that personality who is going to be arrested before October 30. He has kept the people and the media guessing on this.

Since Vundavalli has been fighting against media baron Ch Ramoji Rao in the Margadarsi Chit Funds case for several years, one would guess that he must be indicating the arrest of Ramoji Rao, who is being targeted by the Jagan government.

The Crime Investigation Department of the Andhra Pradesh police has already filed criminal cases against Ramoji Rao and his daughter in law Sailaja Kiran and made them accused No. 1 and 2 respectively. Once the CID gathers enough evidence, it is likely to be arrested any time.

So, Vundavalli wants to see Ramoji Rao behind the bars at least for one day to prove that his allegations against Margadarsi are true.

Alternatively, the former MP might also be hinting at the arrest of Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh, who is also being implicated in the skill development corporation scam.

The TDP general secretary is also facing allegations of corruption in AP Fibernet scandal and the CID is also probing the same vigorously.

So, let us wait and see whose arrest Vundavalli has predicted in the coming days.
