Company phones made sense before Covid. Support/Escalation calls for P1/P2 tickets or send messages over weekend as well. Laptop ayithe off chestam kada. Ade phone ayithe no excuse.

One problem you will face is if you move out then mostly company will keep the number.

Not really. You can easily port it back. Plenty of ppl in my company did it when they left. U can ask the team that manages mobiles to release the number.

Depends on company. I had to let go of the number. It's not a big problem now a days as we have cloud back ups for everything.

Ninnu ullu chesthunnaadu.....don't port personal number to business...even it is difficult, carry 2 phones....no personal communications in business phones...
