He is the son of Vangaveeti Ranga, considered to be the face of the Kapu caste in the state.Radha joined the PRP couple of years back and incidentally he always expected Chiranjeevi to stand by him.But Chiranjeevi recently refused to attend a 'Kanaka Durga' procession that Radha takes up every year after the end of the 'Devi Navaratrilu'.Incidentally the last year's Kanaka Durga procession was attended by Ram Charan Tej son of chiranjeevi. After this Radha has sent hints that he would quit the party. But the basic question remains. Why did Chiranjeevi not attend the yatra after being invited by Radha himself? The reason is because of the Vijayawada West PRP MLA, Vemulapalli Srinivas. In the last elections, this Vysya leader won the elections while Ranga lost the elections.Since the past few months there have been clashes between Srinivas and Radha over several issues. After this, Srinivas went to Chiranjeevi and warned him not to attend Radha's yatra and reportedly told him that he would not mind quitting the party if Chiranjeevi attends this procession. And Radha is shocked that Chiru can ditch him just for a leader like Vemulapalli Srinivas. Now Radha is reportedly contemplating of quitting the party and either enter the TDP or the Congress.Radha is also keeping low profile in the PRP activities of the city since he lost the elections from Vijayawada Central.
