In 2019, the YCP won in 151 constituencies and 42 of them with a majority of 1,000 votes. For exampale, in Vijayawada Central, the YCP won with a wafer-thin majority of 25 votes. The YCP secured similar majority from the twin Godavari districts to Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Kurnool and Nellore districts. A majority of them won with a difference of below 500 votes.
