Telangana had 5 government medical colleges in 60 years of Independence, 2 of them were pre independence or state formation, 2 of them were established after Telangana movement (2008 and 2014), it pains to say they established 1 medical college in 50 years and that too in 1959(kakatiya medical college)

Was going through some numbers, looks like Telangana’s now has best per capita doctor seats. 8k-10k seats anta..

2014-2023, we have come much faster and quicker. Medical infrastructure, education and care is a crucial part of human development index and looks like it’s on the right path.
