Medical mafia is well known. Even in India, there are some good health practitioners (Ayurveda or homeopathy or some other alternative medicine I dont remember) got banned in North. Looks like they were helping a lot of ppl and treating even cancer successfully. 

If you have'nt read about Nikola Tesla(Electrical & electronic Engineer and an innovator), read about him and his invention working with doctors to cure cancer. Its based on theory that every cell responds to a unique frequency and used it to treat diseases. Trick was to find the frequency which he did working with doctors. 

The usage or anyone treating with this device is banned and If i remember correctly gets death penalty
