Let me guess - these students are from iiit etc - mean they were born may be in 2001-2003.

So they were ashamed to be from ap till 2004.

Became  proud of AP from 2004-09. Again ashamed after rajanna gone from 2009 till 2019. Again proud from 2019 onwards.

genuine question...dont want to criticizing any party...here...

first of all heart full congratulations to those kids..who entered in united nations or white house..it will be good memory for them and big boost for their career...

but local media...dont project it like it happend all just because of speaking english...it very wrong...and misguiding...

why are we so romanticizing speaking english..? in this internet era...my 4 years old nephew started speaking english just by watching Peppa Pig series..

what i want to convey is ...subject matters...

for example... 

మనం మనలో ఆలోచించుకునేది..మనలో మనం మాట్లాడుకునేది...మన మాతృభాషలోనే...

చదివిన విషయం, సూత్రం, సిద్దాంతం, భావం, అభావం...లాంటివి ఏ భాషలో అయినా...మనకి అర్ధం అయ్యేలా analisys చేసుకుంటూ మనతో మనం మాట్లాడుకునేది మన భాషలోనే... అలా మనం మనం తర్కించుకున్న విషయం మన మీద... మన భవిష్యత్తు మీద గట్టిగా ప్రభావితం చేస్తుంది...

english వాళ్లకి oxford dictionary లాంటి సంస్తలు...కొత్త పదాలని చేర్చడం..అంతగా వాడని పదాలని తీసేయడం లాంటి మార్పలు చేస్తూ వాళ్ల భాషని వాళ్లు కాపాడుకుంటారు...కానీ తెలుగుకి అలాంటి  ఏర్పాటు లేదు...కనీసం అందరు ఆమోదించే common dictionary..లేదు...

గతంలో..ఫ్రభుత్వ కార్యక్రమాల దస్తవేజులు (documentation) కోసం అలాంటి common dictionary ప్రయత్నం జరిగినా...తర్వాతి ఫ్రభుత్వాలు వాటిని పక్కన పడేసాయి...

just imagine.. if a common man get his court notices in his mother tongue other than english or common man reading a GO (govt order) in his own language than english or hindhi...that will make huge difference..in society...

 

finally....ఒక పక్క మా యాస.. మా సంస్కృతి అంటూ పాకులాడే మనకి...మరోపక్క ఈ english గోల ఏలా?...

english is how knowledge sharing happens. migatha antha secondary.

every kid should be encouraged to achieve a functional level of proficiency in English, a higher level if the kid wants to pursue higher knowledge.

migatha languages are stuck in stone age.

first learn english well enough to understand maths and logic, and then perhaps attempt to translate them into Telugu to improve the standard of conversation. English at this point should be considered an Indian language, being the second most spoken language in all of India. Efforts should be made to make English the most spoken language in India.
