I understand enough about banking to know you are out of your depth on this.

you can prove me wrong, by making a constructive critique on how fractional banking system is designed to keep power with a shadowy cabal headed by whoever (it doesn't matter)..

I'm more interested in how systems function, and how to optimize their functionality, than going off on random rants about an invisible power that I can do nothing about.

as far as I understand fed only follows the market and tries to optimize the economy with the tools it has been given. Its mandate used to be 'full employment' few decades ago, and then it has shifted to 'control inflation' since the 80s.

you can illuminate my dumb brain on what other crap Fed is up to. feel free to call me names or whatever, but try to atleast say one useful thing that I can move the conversation forward. coz I'm now curious if you really know something that I don't.

What systems have you optimized thus far ? How does fed regulate inflation, when Fed created it by Quantitative easing? If real estate has gone up over 30%, gas prices over 60 cents a gallon, and groceries by atleast 30%, what does a single digit inflation that Fed talks about even means?

Fed directly does not regulate inflation. But indirectly it can influence as it sets interest rates.

Whether inflation is being correctly measured is a different story.

Inflation is directly correlated to money. when money supply is reduced - how long can inflation stand ?
