My philosophy reading gives me a detachment, which gives me more clarity in my thought, which in turn gives me lesser stress, which in turn gives me peace.

I concur with all the problems you listed and one more that is confrontations with people around me which adds to my stress, which again gets me to reaffirm my thought and stay detached. philosophy and family are two contradictory entities. cannot be put together. which means, without emotions you can see things very clearly. so choose which one you want

Well, to each his own, bro. Anthe anukoni munduku vellipovadame. For me, there is no development without an argument. Spardha vardhate vidyaa ani antaru kadha, ala. Until you confront one's own self, you don't develop. As I said, confrontation is a confrontation of ideas and the more you learn the more detached you become with an idea or your idea about an idea. After a stage, it just becomes more about learning and start becoming lesser and lesser about your own perceptions. One starts enjoying the process than the outcome.

Okay.

Unless you have the logical structure to analyse, you cannot see things clearly. Even if you do see it, you cannot communicate it to others. Only if you think philosophy is like self help meme that you create to solely guide you through life and nothing else, that should work. Otherwise philosophy is a vast area of human endeavour to be talking about it it without defining things clearly.

I keep asking dasari to explain what his priors are, and he accuses me of being political.

That's what irks me when he posts about philosophy. The guy has zero self awareness about how inherently arrogant he is.
