Indian people are attracted to drama than development,

In western countries, most of the people never know who is their mayor or their senator as they only care about development and jobs. And you barely see a political activity interrupting your everyday life in western countries.

Depends on what perspective you are asking. 

Ppl are more divided now based on religion, caste and even region. 

Infrastructure has improved but cities not able to keep up infra with growth. Too many ppl moving from villages to cities in search of job/money opportunities. 

Basic Water, electricity problems are still there. No progress. Housing getting out of hand for poor and middle class.

When politicians can’t win votes on development, they try to win by creating divisions and blaming the “others” for all the evils… the others can be of a caste or a religion or a region… this playbook is used by modi, kcr, Jagan, trump, Biden, etc etc etc…

Agree on this point completely. But I will put onus on ppl changing. They have to change rather than hoping politicians to change. Unfortunately I think ppl have given up and just accepting politicians as they are.

NOTA should have more value. Its there but no value. There should be a good structure around it. Let govt officials have more power in case NOTA gets more votes.
