in my opinion - next time if you are not in a position to bear the hospital bills then do not let them travel to US instead you visit India every 2 years

heck even if the US person falls sick and insurance doesnt cover all expenses there are go fund me pages.

tell him its not because you lack love for them or something. the US medical system is that way.

only workaround is take your mom to doctor or emergency, dont sign as guarantor and give fake address. lot of illegals do that. tell him this option also

First take care of your mother and don't worry about what your dad said. That is the last thing worry about now. 

I would start with calling your physician in India and get his/her opinion. What can be done now to help her. It can be dietary restrictions or medicine(get in touch with your friends/family who travelling to get those for you.) 

If you know any Indian doctors at your place (neighborhood or through friends) talk to them and get their opinion.

1I heard There r some voluntary Orgs in US  who take up such issues and help them pl try to look for them(but not sure u r eligible as ur Pay might be higher)

2) Contact Telugu Associations

3) Lookout for Putaparthi Satya Sai Orgs  (Bajana Units) they also can Help

4)Pl Approach wider public/Social media
