Just stay more vigilant then. Like not going alone in odd times. Hang out with few friends together and stay away from any Khalistani rallies or protests. Unfortunately, unlike in US and India self dense with disproportionate force is an offense in Canada, and can implicate oneself if retaliated against any attack. Such is the state of affairs.
