arrogant ga unte kudaradhu… thats why I said, behave like friends. Chala poisonous ga unnaru peers iyyalrepu…

Peer pressure is true. I accidentally saw once in my kids school group chat a kid writing "will you be my hoe" to a girl. My kid says its very normal in middle school to use that language. Its very casual it seems. So i tell her its not OK that someone calls a girl that. They have to put boundaries in what they can say/cannot say. Of course I know kids are immature at this age and wont listen to what we say. Oka sari cheppi vadilestha. Tell them i am available to listen if they have any issues. I cant promise to solve but listen.

Exactly... spot on. Similar experiences!!

The only way we can extract such otherwise censored details from them is by being friends with them, and help them cope.

No I disagree that parents don't understand a lot. Yes there are some parents but in my case my parents saw the pressure I was taking with my entrance exam and said not to pursue it and take an easy course. but I didn;t listen to them. I have reduced 20kgs during that period.

Are blockages in heart chakra and root chakra by birth? Are these physical in nature or soul related? Throw some light on chakra as well.

Meera antony - Vijay antony's kid committed suicide. She is in 12th grade and probably did this coz of stress of studies. Sad :(

Parents have to keep an eye on the kid and keep asking how they are feeling. Talk to them if they are stressed out.

I doubt film family kids are stressed about marks and education… most of them don’t do well in education and parents don’t stress them much.. same with kids from rich families… they always have something to fall back on if they don’t study well..

aa studies stress antha mostly middle class lo ne as they don’t know what else to do if they don’t study..

I think it’s because of too much money. In case film family pressures to succeed or keep their family legacy. If new actors struggling for opportunities.

Yesterday there was a thread on Blue/red. I was wondering what I will do if I am 10 again and got too much money. I struggled to put together what I would do. I could only think of enjoyment when younger. That’s all.

even if you have money it’s still a different struggle.

Yeh I read that part as well. I don’t think it’s the only reason. Ppl with these genes may have more suicidal tendencies but still driven by stress only

Calling all parents -> How do you handle your kids stress? Do you know when they are stressed?

Not really.. the current youth is looking for validation and attention a lot.. social media is messing up their minds so much that they think that the virtual world is real and getting lost in that.. Instagram and TikTok lo andariki views kavali…

my friend started a YouTube channel for his kid few years ago… the kid is now 12 yrs old and he always worries about how to increase the views and how to get more subscriptions.. and what content is needed to get more views..  his friends also look at him as if he is some genius (in a way, he is) bcoz he is on YouTube ..

My comment was specific to Film Family kids who have access to too much money and facilities. They still have stress for different reasons.

I agree about your POV on today's youth. They sound and look alien to us. Probably we look ancient to them :D They like virtual Likes/Shares/Getting viral rather than physical appreciation while interacting with ppl, spending time with friends family and using their talents like singing/dancing, etc in school/colony competitions, etc.

Different times. Different worlds.

We adults are also like that now.. if someone likes our WhatsApp status or a Facebook post, or if someone wishes us on our birthday, we feel very happy and appreciated… if no one cares, we feel sad..

ee db la kuda if someone likes your post or comments on your post, it gives you some satisfaction.. 😄

Haha. I still love talking to ppl in person. I make it a point to meet all my friends who live around. Either happy hour or hike's or meet at a local park with Coke/Sprite (Yeh Right !!). We all like pulling each other legs and all sorts of topics.

We talk stocks, heroines/instagram influencers/movies & TV series/office politics/cricket & sports and almost every discussion ends with Sachin vs Ganguly who is great and we conclude its "Dhoni". :D

But there is some truth to what you said, we do like someone validating what we post here or in FB or instagram.
