a country's place in the world is determined by how many other countries follow it's lead, stand for it.

"Do you think we're innocent" to quote former US President Donald Trump. I don't know if it's true or not, but it definitely increased India's & Modi's stature on the international stage. It reaffirms to the people of India that Modi doesn't back down when it comes to national security! Either way it's a win-win for Modi & it's safe to say the damaged relations between India & Canada will improve only if Conservatives take over & kick Trudeau to the curb in the upcoming elections. If Liberals win again, I don't see any relations with Canada for a long time. Not that anybody in India cares, but Canada can import Khalistani & Jihadi terrorists & make their once beautiful & peaceful country like the UK, a hell hole & a breeding ground for terrorists. mostly US will ask Canada to drop the case. Its not the first time. Indian independent media was left out to hang dry by the US during CAA agitation too.

Democracy is a Christian & Western concept. Why should India follow Democracy when it's not even in the ethos of Indian Culture. Democracy is an imposed colonial idea & provides an opportunity for Western or any other country to intervene in India's internal matters & hold the government by its balls. India should follow Singapore system to govern its people not West Minster system. No matter how much the Western world claims or what it calls Modi, their voice lost the command they once had. They called Xi Jingping a lot of names. Does Xi care? May be but every insult will be retailiated by the chinese in the most painful way possible to the West. Russia joining China is precisely what Nixon & Kissinger had tried avoid. Now China is not only more powerful than the erstwhile Soviet, it's also as powerful as the US & the West. So, it's West's loss, not India's!

Criticizing Trudeau, a human scum, is not a criticism of the Canadians. Former conservative PM Harper is a friend of India. Hindu Canadians, most of them, will be a significant permanent voting block for the conservatives. Many of whom might just become citizens to vote in the upcoming general elections.
