Hyderabad as Union territory

Recommended Posts

Telangana is experiencing rapid development. It is driven by the substantial revenue generated from Hyderabad.

However, there are murmurs within political circles about the central government contemplating the transformation of Hyderabad into a union territory.

There are even whispers about the possibility of converting other major cities like Kolkata and Bangalore into union territories.

The accuracy of these speculations remains uncertain. Implementing such a move could potentially divide opposition parties, given that the BJP does not hold power in Hyderabad, Kolkata, or Bangalore.

Concerns arise over the feasibility of such an undertaking. Separating Hyderabad from Telangana would be a profound injustice, as the outlying regions in Telangana are currently evolving, and their development relies heavily on Hyderabad.

Every time during the elections, we hear these murmers propagated by BRS. As soon as they win elections, it disappears & resurfaces during the time of elections.
