The key leader in the State Congress Party for several years is shifting his base to New Delhi ? Did he become ready to leave his post in unavoidable circumstances eventhough he wants to continue in the post? If we observe the current state politics, the answer for these is appearing as ‘yes’.The Congress party high command in Delhi is taking the handling of the incidents after 31st December as its first challenge.The first step in this direction the Congress party found is replacing Rosaiah. The fear of the party is over the report of Sri Krishna Committee in next December. The party knows well that serious agitations are inevitable whether the committee recommends to give Telangana, maintain the present status or to make recommendation to separate the state and handover the city of Hyderabad to both regions in the way of ‘Ayodhya’. The replacement of the chief minister is part of the strategy of high command to maintain a balancing strategy after 31st December.The party leaders in Delhi opined that the present position in the state was the result of the faulty steps taken by Rosaiah in December. If he was continued after 31st December too, the party is fearing of more pathetic conditions in the state and so the replacement.The grapevine is that the Union Minister for Urban Development S.Jaipal Reddy (68),the most influential leader in Delhi, is considered as the most suitable replacement for the post considering the present situations in the state.It is also clear that the statement of Chidambaram in December was also done to bring the state into normal. There was also the effort of Jaipal Reddy behind the statement. By making a capable leader from Telangana as the chief minister, the party is planning to turn the situations to its side after 31st December.It is believed that the 1st November visit of Rosaiah to Delhi is planned for the purpose only.
