probably yes....even opposition are in support to Modi with this issue. Let see if this die down soon or election varaku inka intense avthademo.....even if Canada show proof's and internationally blame Modi govt, I dont think it will damage him locally. We already declared them as terrorists so killing one of the leader is always welcomed in India.

Zero effect. Not even 0.5% swing will happen because of this incident. Least of the important issues.

once india got independence slowly changed the dependence from punjabies

No proofs will be shown in supari killing case where money will be traced back to Indian government. They will have intelligence, but can't press direct charges unless the accused that are arrested give confessions. This was India did in case of Ajmal Kasab. Rest are pressure tactics from the Deep state in the US. They're just using their chemcha JT against Modi.
