Help needed..apartment summons notice

2 months rent due undi..last month sent email to apartment guys abt a unknown fee they said they will waive it off….after that due to some issue auto payment did not got thru..and portal payments option disabled..i forgot abt making payment .now 2 months rent due..today they sent summons eviction notice to sue me. I never expected this. i need to answer within 5 days  with legal form..have to with go with attorney..how to deal it ..i can makethe payment now but thats not option they give me.. apt guys saying just deal with notice, n they cant do anything abt it…. I dont want to move out and get evicted..how to find attorney and deal this..

first read your rental agreement conditions go to some Chinese or desi attorney and also pay dues...collection notice will hit ur credit score and other apartments lease kastam

Chana red flags unnai, but my 2 cents. Send them an email explaining the same matter above, but in a requesting tone. Tell them you can issue a check for the entire amount today and you don't wish to move out.  Retain every email response and call log from the property, hire an attorney. Search "Tenant-Landlord attorney near me " . Sometimes the managers do this if you are opening too many service requests, naggy old neighbor noise complaints against you OR to bump up rent by multifold. If they refuse your check, Inkoka sneaky option ante cheque raasi drop box lo mingu, pic theesko okati. Deposit cheskontado ledo choodu.

apt vadithe discuss chese option ledu bro..they told just follow the summons notice..have to deal with attorney….im worried abt attorney fees, if i lost case, i have to pay more n move out is main issue..i never dealt with court cases in my life

anna mana cali and bay area kaiku pareshaani, laws are in favour of renters and as you said you just forgot, so your lawyer will find a way to just pay the penalty and be done with it no eviction and no credit history hit, hire a good lawyer and have peace of mind

You are just paying the price for your negligence and dont repeat it and be happy no physical harm was involved. 

If you have renter's insurance policy ccheck if they cover part of Attorney fee.
