S Jaishankar ki spot pettara

I will be ridiculed by some, but I must post this to get it out. 

I am from Tamizh Nadu and my wife is from Hyderabad. I went to school in north India and settled here in 2000.  We are a very loving couple with a daughter that works in NYC in tech. Both of us have masters degrees and both of are fairly successful in our fields.

Now for this weird problem. Both my wife fe and I have experienced this multiple times, so it doesn’t seem to be coincidence. 

We go to bed and whenever we see in our dreams, a party,a “thali” or trays of food, there’s bad news waiting for us… Within a day or two, we hear of someone passing away. Sometimes these images are so strong that they appear multiple times in dream after dream, and it’s just 4:30’am where I live.  I just saw Dr S J our foreign minister with a banana leaf full of South Indian delicacies. I am not joking here. I don’t know what is in store for us in terms of bad news.

We are sane rational people, and this is driving us crazy. Please believe me …. without exception there’s always the terrible news of death always after such a dream. If it isn’t a close one, it’s someone we know or news of a huge mishap claiming multiple lives.

The first time this happened several years back, I heard in family circles that a dream of food is a sign of something bad happening. To me it doesn’t matter who passes away. Both of us are very sensitive people, and we feel the pain even if the one that passse away are total strangers.

I can say without hesitation that this is simply . driving us mad and crazy.  

I am sure ther may be done here that have intuitive powers beyond ordinary human comprehension. I would love to hear from them and others as well. 

Please don’t judge or label us. Thank you for your support and understanding.

PS Apologies if I have repeated stuff here. My train of thought is having a bumpy ride today.

I don't even disagree with India's foreign policy wrt the west, but still something about the way Jaishankar makes his point that is irritating.

its like a drunken fool talking out of turn in a party where he's not invited. He doesn't speak like a diplomat at all.
