'Powerstar' Pawan Kalyan today announced a new charitable organization. Along with his friends, well-wishers, fans and like-minded people, he has begun a force called Common Man Protection Force. He also donated Rs 1 Crores as his contribution to the force which will help the people in needy. He announced this on Monday at his residence in Nandi Hills, Hyderabad.

"I am disturbed by the daily ghastly incidents. Reading newspapers and watching news on Television channels, I always feel restless for so much in humanity surrounding our society. Common man is toiling his life going through daily hurdles, facing corrupted politicians and officials. This force will take up several issues like florosis in Nalgonda, suicides of weavers and farmers and other societal problems," Pawan Kalyan said.

He gave his residence address for people to approach him for any help and also gave away special mobile numbers - 98663 44833 and 98663 44733.
