venkappa Posted September 27, 2023 Report Posted September 27, 2023 Why is it only in Rayalaseema where they call gangsters as “factionists”? In Bezawada and rest of the state, they call gangsters as “rowdies” or “goondas”. Aren’t Rayalaseema “factionists” technically rowdies? What’s with the special name? They are both politically connected, with some eventually getting elected MLA or MP. Both have money and henchmen to fight rivals. Both do all same type of crime including bootlegging, extortion, land kabza, rioting, and murder. Quote

If you look Eenadu newspapers from 09,Jan,1983-26,Dec,1988: Everyday article on VM Ranga branding him as dangerous, rowdy, Goonda, Killer, murderer. (hiding the Devineni Gangs news without reporting anything on them). Where as at the same time, Siva Reddy known as Bombula Siva Reddy was termed as Siva Reddy GARU..just because he was TDP supporter. Mass murderers like Kodela Siva Prasad was promoted from Rowdy to Factionist... and was promoted to Home Minister Post under TDP Regime. TDP, NTR and Ramoji owned Vijayawada politics as they thought that Pulka Cassette was loosing the power in the region..so they witch hunted VM Ranag for 6-7 years. At the most some 10-20 members might have died from 1970-1988 in VJA politics..but they branded VM Ranga as murderer and Rowdy. Thousands of people died in BeggarSeema politics the same time, but they were respectfully branded as FACTIONISTS. Quote
