Anyone actually got GC using EB5? Pros and cons?

We got our temporary green card last year . We applied for EB5 in March 2019

Hope is that we will get the money back . Most likely at the end of 2025 or first half of 2026. But applying for EB5 itself is a big risk . There are people who lost money . Koncham research chesi regional center edi better ani chusukuni apply chesukovali . When we applied in 2019 ( pre covid ) there was no way we could get our GC in EB2 . We knew we were taking a huge risk but GC was our priority then

We applied when it was still 500k . I think somewhere at the end of 2019 they increased the amount

No :). We have a special needs kid and I felt she will get better services here . So I didn’t want to take a chance with GC . You never know when you are on H1b kada .

There are hundreds and f regional centers , that are USCIS approved for EB5 investment . We invested in one of those regional centers. Some people open their own business as well for EB5 . It is a hassle , you have to show enployement for 10 people for 2 years . There are people who did that successfully

At least 5-7 years to get permanent green card . But once you get temporary green card , you will be eligible for citizenship in 5 years like any other green card .
