Baboru is responsible for the fall of TDP. it's actually Polar opposite of what you have stated. Having a fanatic loyal cadre will only be beneficial for any leader. Caste as such is not a unique  phenomenon to TDP. The split faction in Congress headed by Kasi Brahmanandam Reddi was called REDDI Congress. That was a brazen name with direct connotation of caste. YSR was part of REDDI Congress. Similarly Thevars support AIDMK , Kapus are behind Mega family, you see the like wise phenomenon with Jats, Gujjars, and Rajputs. Jatavs rally strongly behind Mayawati in UP. 

Corruption is equally common with all other politicians. Dora and Jagan are no exception to this. The problem with Baboru is his leadership abilities. A true king will not let go of his kingdom thereby his land. Baboru let Telagana slip out of his hands, loosing territory and then made loft claims for Amaravathi.

Every leader or king will have loyal lieutenants. Because Baboru came through a backstabbing route, he was not able to trust anyone to the same extent and thought of he did they would throw him from in a similar fashion. This behaviour of his applies equally across Kamma caste and non Kamma castes as well. Even within the kamma caste, he was wary of Nandamuris, and their incompetence helped him if any.

 

To an extent, whatever happens with Baboru will more or less likely reflect on the futures of all similar leaders like Dora, Jagan, Mamata banerjee and other regional parties as they follow the similar footsteps of Baboru, which is Congress style politics. The clan unless it produces a strong successor who can have things under control cannot sustain. It's just that age caught up with Baboru and his style of politics aren't just as effective as they used to be
