since you like sedans look at Mazda 3(sedan or hatch). Awesome car for the money albeit a bit smaller

avoid Kia/Hyundai

Hyundai Elantra Limited. 23k otd 25k. With lot of premium options . Use for 3-4 yrs and do trade in for best available that time.

Stretch for 35 , you can get Toyota rav 4 LE . Toyota sense included (safety features like blind spot, lane assist)
