i heard $1000 and vapas 3% in check.

what can we expect from them? Just signature on closing day or any document verification/ price negotiation with builder ?

Not sure about Austin but they do jackshit. My experience, Incompetent fools who can’t even communicate properly and egoistic for no reason. will never work with a desi realtor again

Yeah 1000$ and then 3% return…they won’t do anythjng other couple of signs …don’t relay on any realtor …do your research and negotiate price …and use dummy realtor for cash back …anyways it’s coming from home price. But do your research see the home

multiple times …morning , evening and nights …get your numbers from lender …hire a third party inspector …it’s all on you…

I did all the work myself and desi realtor was just for showing and paperwork. It was during peak 2021 phase and they were not communicating properly with the sellers agent, lost two houses. Worked with two realtors and one would miss showings, fed up and went with Redfin.

I think u got the wrong info bro. Vallaku vachede 3% kotha illu sign chepisthe, dantlo neku 3% return ela istharu, poni minus 1k ante, vallaki tax evaru kadatharu, example if u buy a 500k house they get 15k, neku 14k ki check isthe vadu nee deggara thisukunna 1k ki 3k taxlu kattukovali. 

Genral ga minus taxes istharu. In most places they charge anyway between .5% to 1%. rest 2% they give it to closing. inka migilithe appudu cash istharu minus tax

I never cared about cash back, if not I would’ve worked with another desi realtor. I used Redfin as an agent and the process was super smooth 

desi realtors are not professional, that’s my point

$500 realtor takes and rest back to us

desi realtors are not professional, that’s my point 

Looks like you got a bad one. I agree most desi agents don't have good comm skills for this job. A close friend of mine works as a realtor (side job) and he is really good. They are 2 partners. So take turns. Give most of the money as cash back. Say they are building a base now. They closed a lot of homes in last 2-3 yrs.

I agree. The first one I worked with is a reputed one in the desi community here, I can even name him. Another one is an agent/mortgage broker. Both don’t have minimum common sense to keep a prospective customer. I understood that people go for them only for the cash back and they were useless during the peak RE market in 2021

I was so frustrated with them I thought of getting the license and dealing myself. If they can do it, it’s an easy task for me

Its true most desis go to a desi realtor for cash back. I would do that too. Its easy to get a pass the exam and get a license. That's y most desi's do this.
