- No non veg ( cooked/uncooked) at home , no head bath,- no temple

- Eat non veg take bath later, Wear used clothes - go temple

There are rules made by our ancestors for reasons they know. Some people follow and others don't. What really matters is your sincerity towards god and doing/being good.

Unlike you, If your wife and mom believes, simply follow. There is no point arguing or contradicting with them.
