Few years back nenu vellanu ..

  • Their public transportation is excellent. LightRail+Trams+Buses+Boats+trams all are covered with the same ticket.
  • 3 day ticket for each person was around $240 but its well worth it. Take their booklet on arrival at the place where you buy this ticket.
  • If you need to go to the top of the mountain using Light rail+train+boat+Tram. You dont have to walk much
  • Food is super expensive. Even a burger+Fries at McD costs like $20+
  • Swiss Panaroma train routes are famous. Their scenic beauty can be seen from the trains. Take Glacier Express, Golden Pass line, and other lines as shown in maps. I think there are total 5 lines which you can try. Lots of attractions in each line.
  • Jungfraujoch, Rhine falls, Lake Zurich, Mount titlis, Chocolate & sweets are some attractions.
  • Thanks 1

3-day pass is called Swiss Travel pass. Around $260 (232 CHF). 6 day is around $400 (359 CHF). This pass will cover most public transports but some trams that take you to peaks like Jungfraujoch will cost separate.

For some panaromic trains like Golden pass, you need to reserve your seat (even if you have Swiss Travel Pass). You can do it online easily.

See information below.

German Coo-coo clocks are very famous there. They are a little expensive too. Buy one as souvenir.

You need to apply it to at the embassy of EU country which you visit first or the country where you stay the most. Just book a flight ticket and cancel next day. Take a print out of it. Same with hotels. Book and then cancel.

Fill in the Schengen application form and get an appointment and submit these details. Ask for multiple entry for future use. Tell them you have plans to visit next year.

But won't they confirm the tickets ?

You book tickets, take printouts and cancel them with in 24 hours with out any charge. You submit the same. Make sure your dates are same when you travel or at least the airlines.
