Reasons for Continuing to Collect the Funds:

No Life Insurance: We recently discovered that there was no life insurance coverage for Bhanu's family. This added financial burden has left Jyothi and her two kids with limited resources, placing even more responsibility on the GoFundMe campaign and the support from friends and family.

No Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI): Jyothi, despite being in possession of her greencard, does not qualify for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). SSDI benefits require the survivor to be a US citizen or have worked for 10 years in the USA. This creates a significant gap in financial support for the family.

Health Insurance Transition: Currently, the family is under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA) plan, which provides continued health insurance from Bhanu's employer. However, this plan is for a limited time. To secure the necessary insurance coverage for Havish, Srivish, and Jyothi after the limited time is essential for their well-being

It can lead to mental health struggles and even early death. Social life suffers, and lack of understanding in society makes it harder. New money can't solve these problems. it may create more problems 

So don't worry about what mom is getting .... if possible help or leave it
