velley Indians are from the top echelons of society.. top 1-5%..

refugees are from poor background, sometimes lacking enough skills, and have to suffer constant insults from the locals who are threatened by them taking up lower skilled jobs etc.

Indians who migrate directly into high paying jobs/universities normally don't have this problem.

most migrants integrate well enough within a generation in the US. Europe is a lot more racist that makes integration much harder.
