Why lower cast people are not fighting upper cast discrimination

Its not the case in India now.

There were times when upper/rich class used to rule over Lower class. Now they are dependent on them. Most people need maids or workers and they treat them really well as its tough to find them. 

When you are buying from street vendors, if you do not like quality or price and move away, they abuse you. This was not the case before. They just don't care now. May be financial independence is the reason.

Tide has turned and Lower caste people are ruling now.

Low caste hurt the even lower caste people and so own. 

Let say each caste is ranked where 1 is highest and 5 is lowest.

1 may oppress all as he considers them all low caste.

2 might get less oppression from 1 because he is relatively higher. 2 will still oppress others.

3 will complain about oppression from 1 and 2, but still oppress both lower castes. 

4 and 5 have both taken oppression from other castes above them. But 4 considers himself better than 5, so 5 is screwed.
