Hamas ==> Tamil Tigers ఇద్దరి లక్ష్యం ఒక్కటి కాదా ?

Both groups will be remembered for fighting ruthlessly in the name of their people – and bringing suffering upon them.

At the turn of the century, it wasn’t uncommon for Hamas and Sri Lanka’s Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), better known as the Tamil Tigers, to find mention in the same debates as governments around the world weighed how to deal with these two militant groups.  

In fact, both Hamas and the Tigers were designated by the United States as foreign terrorist organisations on the same day – Oct 8, 1997. So, too, was Hezbollah, the Iran-backed militant group operating in Lebanon.

The Sri Lankan army did defeat the Tamil Tigers in 2009, but at an enormous cost: it took Colombo 26 years to crush its resilient foe, and the death toll was estimated by the United Nations to be anywhere from 80,000 to 100,000.

That is not to suggest that the Israelis will replicate the Sri Lankans and destroy Hamas, but they certainly have the capacity to significantly downgrade its military capabilities. The question is at what price?

i feel hammas is covert group to spoil the …Palestine cause…to take out the movement from PLO hands…

1990s lo both sides committed for peace and made a oslo pact…surprisingly both leaders were killed who made that pact …since then only extremists running the violence on both sides….

Arafat died of natural causes, not killed.  Rumors claim food poisoning but adantha propaganda I think.

there were some assassination attempts previously on him….and after his death there were few investigations also happend on his death…but still his death is suspicious…

you see the key difference here..Tamil's ni Hindus kada ani or Indians kada ani ..Indian govt kaani Indian people kaani bayataki vachi protest lu cheyyadalu, TV channels lo false claim cheyyadam laantivi cheyyaledu (barring a very few tamilians).... 

Kaani Palestine lo jarigina daniki just because of brotherhood world lo unna andaru muslims full support cheyyadame kaadu..they forcing their countries, govts and fellow citizens to support that cause..

Even India supported LTTE in early years but eventually labelled it as terrorist organisation along with other countries when tamil tigers started high profile assassinations like Rajiv Gandhi, Premadasa and using women,children in the battlefields..

Wrong. Rajiv was assassinated because India labelled LTTE. Rajiv time lo he sent Santi Sena (Indian Army) to help Sinhalese army against LTTE. To avenge this they killed Rajiv
