US Visa-visitors- OFC miss ayyi -only interview attend avvocha? will reschedule OFC later- no dates available now

Hi friends, 

Parents ki visitors visa appointment undi tomorrow (OFC-fingerprinting) but mother ki health baledu , cant attend. I don't see a way to reschedule- new portal -March 2025 dates showing for rescheduling. 

1. what happens if we miss OFC appointment? I plan to reschedule but no option so not sure if its better to leave it as is or reschedule to 2025 (feeling bad as we booked this appointment 1 year before and waited for this time, malli 2025 daaka ante..)
2. Can we still attend visa interview - this is next week?

Please help share info , if anyone already seen or faced such situation

OFC is to verify the identity of the person. Without that they may not take the interview. Can u ask a cbp apicer at POE, repochi fingerprints istha...passport+visa vunnayi ga..idiseyyandi?
