All Indian Youth should work 70 hours a week

Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy expressed concerns about India's work productivity, which according to him is one of the lowest in the world. Narayana Murthy stressed that if India wants to compete with emerging economies, our youngsters should work for at least 70 hours a week. While talking to former Infosys CFO Mohandas Pai during the first episode of 3one4 Capital’s podcast ‘The Record’, Narayana Murthy shared his view on various topics like India's growth, the role of youth, corruption, work productivity, etc.

 

"Somehow our youth has the habit of taking not-so-desirable habits from the West, and then… not helping the country. India's work productivity is one of the lowest in the world. Unless we improve our work productivity, unless we reduce corruption in the government at some level, because we have been reading I don't know the truth of it, unless we reduce the delays in our bureaucracy in taking this decision, we will not be able to compete with those countries that have made tremendous progress. So therefore, my request is that our youngsters must say, 'this is my country, I’d like to work 70 hours a week'',"

Companies like hershey's , nestle employe slaves in africa ..by making them work for 1$ a day in cocoa field. abusing young kids.

 

Product based companies like microsoft , dell , hp, ibm use corporate engineering graduate slaves in India who has no personal life ..other than watching movies of movie stars, watching reels and politicians speech... eating mom made festival food during festivals.. so they are perfect fit for IT slavery. These white collar billionaires use refined english to speak with audacity ..

Yes. People who are working for themselves i.e. their own business, self-sufficient, farmers all work more than 70 hours per week. It makes sense as they are working for their growth.

It does not make sense working that many hours for others or companies where the prosperity is not shared with them.
