for web devs, mac is ideal.

mac is unix behind the scenes. and we can install windows on it too and get the best of both worlds in one device.

In that case buy macbook air (max 1200 after taxes) and see for 6 years how it would perform and compare how many windows laptops you bought in last 6 years and total money you spent for both...

buy itunes giftcards ( only 8 will work during checkout )

{{ you can save upto 160$ more this thanksgiving.... so u can get higher config that suits your needs }} Combine this with apple thanksgiving discounts u can save more. if u know any apple employee ask their help

personal experience is the best way to test anything ........ practically anything

initial investment may be higher on a mac but savings are more and headaches are fewer in the long run. no viruses on mac. the ecosystem on a mac is unbeatable.

that's an analogy like a cat vs dog.

cats are clean - dogs are dirty.

cats are maintenance free - dogs need a lot of our time, walking, picking, cleaning, bathing, grooming...

macs run for months without restarting.

Apple doesn't make cheap stuff.
