kanipisthe chalu janalaki neethulu chepadam start chestharu , they are given number of incentives by consecutive chief ministers of karnataka otherwise that company would have died long back, and once devegowda objected to narayana murthy creating a land bank and devegowda who is humble farmer , was criticized by lutyens media that he is fit for nothing as PM bcoz he wears dhoti and he sleeps more , but devegowda little time as pm was successful enough inspite of coalition govt 

and the vishal sikka who was first CEO who is not a promoter of infosys was heckled and ridiculed by murthy , inspite of rising company profits by 25% and paying high salaried to executive staff at the top , he was criticized for travelling on private chartered flight by narayana murthy , vishal sikka and entire infosys board took a stand against murthy ,then old man got embarassed, and also hurt ,so vishal sikka quit lol, one of the self rightist this murthy batch , who feels so much about good corporate governance  , GST portal ,income tax portal and aadhar card portal with all flaws given number of warnings by govt of india to infosys couldnt do proper work on those ,now asking everyone to work for 70 hours a week, so cool

yea vishal sikka was way ahead of his times.., he is into AI and machine learning in 2015-17 itself and he is SAP guy.

i dont know why he was shunted out.... there seems lot of things which he discovered was not right and point them out i guess , so he was shown the door

i disagree with u on tata and premji part they are not tech guys , and they are chairman to whole group business , they dont know much about software industry and how it works 

but coming to narayana murthy  he is IT guy , he commits all kinds of fraud for high contract prices and make his company do mediocre web applications

brahmins on a whole is very good with their work ethic, discipline and god fearing nature, there are some rotten apples in every  community, so race has nothing to do

Nilekani left Infosys in 2009 to lead India’s unique identification project, Aadhaar, at the request of the then prime minister Manmohan Singh. S GOPALAKRISHNAN
April 2007 - August 2011

Nilekani relinquished his position as CEO to his colleague and cofounder S Gopalakrishnan in 2007. Gopalakrishnan headed several technical positions within Infosys till then.

SD Shibulal was the last promoter to have held the position of chief executive at Infosys. He took over from his colleague S Gopalakrishnan in 2011 and ran operations as CEO till 2014.

UB Pravin Rao, a life-long Infoscion, who has held several leadership positions at Infosys, was appointed interim CEO for four months while the hunt for the next chief executive was on. Rao will go back to being the chief operating officer of Infosys following the appointment of the new CEO.

Salil S Parekh will be the second non-promoter CEO to take charge of the $10-billion IT firm. Parekh was a member of group executive board at Capgemini. Known among his peers as the ‘turnaround manager’, Parekh has seen through successful acquisitions and strong business turnarounds in the past. He will assume responsibility from January 2, 2018 for five years .

 

IF you see Infosys CEOS it was always promoters who founded the company or people from finance background became CEOS

for example

first 4 ceos are promoters

Vishal sikka is exception  , he is IT GUY who invented SAP prior to this or who is face of it

pravin Rao is from finance 

salil parekh worked in managements in capgemini and ernst& young  and IT engineer too, he accquires lot of small companies when he uses to work for other companies board , this guy can do better if he was given freedom , but for now he is just sticking to status quo and seems to follow instructions from murthy

reason being b's dont grab ur lands like two other caste politicans in AP& telangana
