The reason South is developed is because of consistent financial support & institutional cooperation from the Central Govt. South states also developed because of economic contributions of North/East/West Indians living in big cities which is where most wealth is generated. Cities in the South are not a homogenous group of people speaking a particular language residing in their respective states. (with the exception of Amaravati city---because it does not exist LOL) As I mentioned in my previous message, US lo kuda rich states fund poor states. It's part & parcel of Democracy. It's not that these states forever need a handout from the Central Govt. They have come a long way since the last 20 years. If Southern states were poor, the government does the same thing....look at North-East for example. The govt has given them so many incentives. Successive governments spent tons of money on Jammu & Kashmir trying to save the state from illegal encroachment & cross border terrorism....would you ask the same to the govt why are spending my money on J&K?
