ENE is different man... there are few scenes which are cinematic brilliance in making... bar scene , dialogues wow. There's no question about technical brilliance but second half was too bad... like they wrote as if - here is one wacky scene because the genre needs it. Also the love story was flat and boring. I saw far more interesting stories in my surroundings. The conflict of that bartender guy was unrealistic. There were few scenes that were very good and they marketed memes to peaks. 1 Quote

Imagine if Roja was made now.. It was cringe in 90s, and now it'd be unbearable. that is sita ramam. I couldn't finish the movie. even that director's first movie with lavanya tripathi is much better. Quote

Vocal about insecurities.... every other director would have gone for bigger, routine template movies with big stars and easily make lot of money. But, he still employs all his friends, maintains a big writing team and trying to do something different. neku ala artham ayinda kaka, Nenu vadini emi analedu. ENE peddaga adadam ledu ani evado journo ante koncham serious ga explanation echadu anthe. ENE is a classic, but release ayinappudu negative talk tho nadichindi. Thats my point. Quote

It got its due and recognition later.... made couple of crores on a re-release is not a joke. it is one of the most watched movie on netflix. Quote

Also, trailer and teaser promised a wild road movie, which is not it is. 1 Quote

First time view ki Mathu vadalara is good, repeat value is ENE you summarized it well. mathu vadalara , keeda cola like movies are good movies, but i don't think they have repeat value. Memes - yes, but can't watch again. ENE is such a slow burn... can watch many many times.... Quote

hunkyfunky2 Posted November 4, 2023 Author Report Posted November 4, 2023 Lifting the thread .... I'm curious what normal people think about keedaa cola... I get it that it is getting average reviews , not universal positive reviews. Quote
