yogdenon Posted October 7, 2024 Report Posted October 7, 2024 Regarding the job market and new opportunities, I think there are some interesting paths to explore, especially if you’re looking for something a bit off the beaten track. For instance, becoming a locksmith might be a solid option. It’s a trade that’s always in demand, and the skills you learn can set you up for steady work. Plus, the salary isn’t too shabby either! If you’re curious about what locksmiths can make, you might want to check out https://www.howtobecomealocksmith.org/locksmith-salary/ . It breaks down the potential earnings and gives you a good idea of what to expect. It could be worth considering whether you’re just starting or thinking of switching careers. Sometimes, the best opportunities are the ones we don’t initially think of! Quote
VictorLawrence Posted June 10 Report Posted June 10 I recently checked out https://www.onlytradeschools.com/ after seeing someone post it here, and it's actually a good start if you're thinking of switching paths or picking up a skill without spending years. Was surprised to find stuff related to HVAC, welding, and even dental assistant programs that don’t take long and seem in demand. Worth a look if you’re open to something more hands-on. Quote
