But delhi has a lot of "national" level budgets which dont go directly to state governments but to universtiries, road contractors, railways etc - here they direct it to go where their fav state is.

For example railway budget does not come here and does not go to state govt but railway minister can direct it to be spent within gujrat.

Doesn't change the fact KCR and KTR have enabled multi fold growth of Hyderabad which none of the other united AP CMs could achieve. KTR is bringing in all best companies development centers and not body shop call center or service centers like chemba did. They are improving lives of all sections unlike factionist YSR and Chemba who were mostly interested in enhancing personal wealth.

Details dont look good. Not clear how he calculated. He is taking state own revenue and making it a proportion of all other states own revenue and using that as dividing factor. Thats not accurate.

On top of it - as i said before - he is taking in to consideration only amounts transferrred from union govt to state govt. He is not calculating for example how defense budget benefits states. Or how railway budget benefits states. or how sports budget is spend (mostly on gujrat these days). All these expenses - the money came form states but states have no say how it is spent.

If you count for all this then benefits to north states is even higher.

Best solution is that tax money remains within states and delhi only collects a small share.
