5 days not long enough for Nile trip bro so I can recommend this: 

Go to Cairo, Giza is like a suburb of Cairo where the pyramids are. It will take you half a day to see the pyramids not longer. There will be a sound and light show in the night outside the pyramids but feel free to skip it if you don't have much time. It's decent but nothing that superb. 

Cairo has Khan el khali their local market, mana koti bazaar type lo untundi if you want to buy some souvenirs or gifts. Old town Cairo has mosques built 300 years ago etc if you like to visit some more historic places. Same with Coptic christian churches of Cairo. 

You can go to Alexandria, go to Pompey's pillar and catacombs. You can also go to the fort on the sea if you are there. Alexandria is a very old historic city built by Alexander, on the North of Egypt. I think 3 hours from Cairo. 

Other must see places are Luxor temple(see it in the evening under lights), Abu Simbel(but this is all the way at the Southern border of Egypt so might have to fly there). I think that should take care of 5 days.
