TG had naxal problem but it’s been sorted out. Elections should be fine there.

Seemandhra elections were violent for long time. There was booth capturing and rigging in many areas back in the day, like Kankipadu. I fear the upcoming polls will get violent.

Wow someone comfortably settled in the US judging folks back home, just for doing their job. 

Violence is part of their job. That's the world your people are forced to live in.

Seema politicians were notorious for booth captures, bombing, factions.

growing up as a kid in rural and urban Telangana it is unheard of distribution of money and most of the politicians were normal guys with not much so off in terms of money or muscle albeit some feudal guys.

some of that seema culture percolated to Telangana in TDP regime and amplified during YSR second term and it is an in thing now, money distribution became main stream now but not so much of violence
