టీటీడీ అధికారులపై ఆలయ గౌరవ ప్రధానార్చకులు రమణ దీక్షితులు ఎక్స్ వేదికగా పలు ఆరోపణలు చేశారు. సోమవారం ప్రధాని మోదీ తిరుమల సందర్శన సందర్భంగా ఆయనను ట్యాగ్ చేస్తూ ‘ఎక్స్’లో పోస్ట్ పెట్టారు. ‘భారత ప్రధానికి శుభోదయం, తిరుమల శ్రీవారి ఆలయ పరిపాలనను హిందూయేతర అధికారి, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం దశలవారీగా నాశనం చేస్తున్నారు. సనాతన ఆచారాలు, టీటీడీ పరిధిలోని పురాతన నిర్మాణాల ధ్వంసం సాగుతోంది. తిరుమలను వాటి నుంచి రక్షంచి, హిందూ రాష్ట్రంగా అత్యవసరంగా ప్రకటించాలి. శ్రీవారి ఆశీస్సులు మీకుంటాయి’ అని పోస్ట్ పెట్టారు. ఈ క్రమంలో సోషల్ మీడియాలో రమణ దీక్షితులుపై నెటిజన్లు విమర్శలు ఎక్కుపెట్టారు. ముందుగా ఆయనపై వచ్చిన అవినీతి ఆరోపణలపై చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలంటూ డిమాండ్ చేశారు. ఆ తరువాత కాసేపటికే రమణ దీక్షితులు తన పోస్ట్‌ను తొలగించారు

నాసిరకం మద్యాన్ని పంపిణీ చేస్తూ ముఖ్యమంత్రి జగన్ ప్రజల ప్రాణాలతో చెలగాటమాడుతున్నారని టీడీపీ ఏపీ అధ్యక్షుడు అచ్చెన్నాయుడు మండిపడ్డారు. దశలవారీగా మద్యం నిషేధిస్తామని చెప్పిన జగన్.. మద్యం అమ్మకాలను మరింత పెంచారని దుయ్యబట్టారు. మద్యం అమ్మకాల డబ్బును ప్యాలెస్ కు తరలిస్తున్నారని ఆరోపించారు. మద్యం దుకాణాల్లో డిజిటల్ పేమెంట్లు లేకుండా చేశారని... మద్యం ధరలను కూడా పెంచారని విమర్శించారు. ఇసుక దొరక్క లక్షలాది మంది భవన నిర్మాణ కార్మికులు రోడ్డున పడ్డారని ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. వచ్చేది తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వమేనని దోచుకున్నదంతా కక్కిస్తామని హెచ్చరించారు. టీటీడీలో తన బంధువులను నియమించుకోవడమే జగన్ పనిగా పెట్టుకున్నారని విమర్శించారు. సామాజిక న్యాయం అంటే సొంత వర్గానికి న్యాయం చేయడమా జగన్? అని ఆయన ప్రశ్నించారు.

Several committees have been formed since then to study the feasibility of restoration of the structure but nothing concrete emerged. Former chief minister K Rosaiah had also pitched for its reconstruction in 2007 but the last word is not out yet on the mandapam works.
Senior archaeology officials argued that rebuilding the mandapam is inevitable and all the 1,000 pillars should be reconstructed as per the original structure. The department pointed out that as per the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments, Archaeological Remains Act of 1960 and amendment to the Act, structures and historical sites of more than 100 years old must be protected by government. The mandapam was built in 1464 by Saluva Malla Devaraya.
