I recently moved to India.. what you think is totally wrong. 40/50 lakhs salary is good but not amazing with the current situation in India, if you want to maintain a similar lifestyle.

a family with 2 kids need 2lakhs per month for the basic needs (to maintain a similar lifestyle for returned NRIs). that is just to run the home every month, not including savings, emergency funds .. etc

I don’t know about your life style but if someone has own house, why do they need 2 lakh/month for basic needs.

70k EMI for an apartment
50k (25 + 25) - school fees for 2 kids

Idi correct bhayya. Local talent and too much competition untundi india lo. I hired a driver for few days in India and that young guy was taking training in BI Publisher/Tableau.
Asalu nenu shock ayya vadi knowledge chusi. Maybe English weak emo kani but he was better than many biryani batch boys in Dallas.

then, they will go for a villa with EMIs

we saw peer pressure in the U.S. In India, it's 100x more.

the society and the family will not let you sleep peacefully

That is definitely true. But why should we bend to them. We are not living because of them.
