Unlike abhrahamic reglions where they claim God told some ... (Moses, Muhammad, etc) ... Sanatana Dharma / Vedic culture is based on seeking ... So people seeked, universe / purpose / etc and came up with Vedic content. (Much better than Abrahamic scripts which give you stipulations to blindly follow) Fast forward, today also we (humans) still seek ... i would go on a limb and say, we are better positioned today to seek today compared to 5000 or 10000 years ago (scientific revolution, tools, etc). Based on any modern seeking ... there is no evidence of Vishnu or Shiva. if you think Vedas are more advanced than current civilization ... then your fundamental assumption according to me is flawed
