Definitely good attempt and effort from State Govt that time. But remember he was the CM of the state with unlimited powers and that gave him the power and money to dk what he wanted. Many positive factors too: IT was about to explode, millions of opportunities for Govt and individuals, already educated middle class etc. But CBN or AP were not alone in this. Bangalore was already No.1 but neighbouring states like TN and Kerala also catching up. Delhi NCR gaining momentum. even Kolkata also had It park by 2001. on the flipside, the biggest beneficiaries of real estate boom of Hitech city was maavaallu. Also AP got crippled in almost every other sector with the state CM putting all energies on this IT -
