I do not like the idea of commercialising the concept of education but I do not see any harm in overcharging those who can afford... It all just boils down to affordability. If Govt charges GST on their fee, they can divert that money to poor Govt schools in poverty ridden areas. The UK Govt had started collecting VAT (GST is modelled after VAT concept of UK) on private schools there by generating income they can spend on public schools.
