I am planning to retire soon. I hit my FIRE number already but the issue is you don't want to tap into your 401k till you reach 62. I am also transferring Roth IRA now since you would pay less taxes on it if you transfer now than 20 years later. Even if you hit your FIRE number, you should only consider money that is not in your 401k for your 40s-60s for survival. Health insurance is another consideration until social security kicks in.
