You stayed for 180 days right? you applied in Oct, but when did you go to india before applying? verification is going to MROs these days. my case went, but said without 180 days they cannot approve it, scared. money is mandatory anyways.

Adhar is card for residents, it does not give any indication on citizenship status. so, if you stay in india for 180 days, you are eligible for it. There is a demand from OCIs to reduce it to meaningful practical limit of 30 to 50 days.

I came across this older discussion and wanted to add that a lot depends on how busy the connecting roads are. My corner place was great until traffic increased, so I had to add taller fencing for privacy. Has anyone here tried using landscaping instead of walls to reduce noise and still keep the place looking open?
