Rajya Sabha member and AICC spokesman K Kesava Rao, known for his maverick behaviour, has made yet another controversial statement on Tuesday that would definitely irritate Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and his camp.

When media persons asked him what the impact of Jaganmohan Reddy’s campaign would be on the Congress prospects in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections, Kesava Rao asked, rather sarcastically: “Who is Jagan?” A rather shocking correspondent who asked the question reminded him that he was referring to late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s son, the AICC spokesman said: “Oh! That Jagan! I don’t need to remember his name, just because his father was the chief minister,” he said.

Kesava Rao said many leaders and cadres campaigned for the party in the GHMC elections and it was not possible to assess how many votes each campaigner would fetch. Watch out for angry outburst from Jagan camp very soon.
